About Us
The Troop meets in the basement hall of St. Peter’s Church at 313 2nd Street, SE Washington, DC 20003 or nearby local parks every Wednesday evening starting at 7:15 pm and finishing about 8:45 pm.
A typical meeting might include learning valuable leadership and hands-on skills, working on a merit badge, planning one of our monthly campouts, or a yearly high-adventure.
Scouts teach one another using the "EDGE" method: Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable.
Our Troop is charterted by St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Capitol Hill. Although we are affiliated with the church, youth of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome. Our goal is to provide an exciting and challenging Scouting program for middle school and high school-aged youth in the Washington, DC/Capitol Hill area.
